Fundraising for wellbeing
As with many charities, The Listening Ear has seen its opportunities for fundraising curtailed during the pandemic. Meanwhile, the number of children in need of our help keeps going up.
The Listening Ear needs your donations to continue to support children and young people in Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole. While we do continue to apply for grants from such generous sources as The National Lottery, these one-off funds are swiftly used up.
There are many ways that you could help:
-
Arrange a quiz with your friends, with entry being a donation,
-
Clear out your wardrobe, and auction your old clothes to raise money,
-
Join in one of our events!
-
Create your own event - anything that you want (as long as it's safe and legal please!).

With the weather having improved, and the urge to go outside being upon us, what better way to do that than by raising money for a local charity.
Walk, jog or run - take the family! Enjoy yourself, and support The Listening Ear.
The amazing Sam wants “To raise as much money as possible in order to continue to provide counselling to children and young people in our area”. If you’d like to support her, please click on the link to go to her Crowdfunder page.
Thanks Sam!
